Overview

vssl is a personal journaling app designed with a local-first architecture. Your journal entries and attached content are stored on your device. vssl does not require account creation or sign-in.

1. Information We Handle

We process the following information locally on your device:

• Journal entries (text)
• Photos you attach to entries
• Voice recordings you create
• Transcriptions generated from your voice entries
• Optional metadata (tags, mood, optional location context)
• App preferences (appearance, reminders, privacy settings)

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not upload your journal content to our servers.
• We do not run third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not build advertising profiles.
